Hartland water main replacement project begins in April
April 17, 2024 – Hartland, Maine – Maine Water will replace 480 linear feet of water main along Main Street beginning in April. The $225,000 investment in infrastructure replaces water mains that are more than 90 years old.
By proactively replacing aging water lines, customers benefit from improved water quality, increased flow of water for fire protection and enhanced reliability to the area. Proactively replacing lines also saves money over having to replace lines during an emergency.
Streets impacted by the project include Main Street, Mill Street, Hubbard Avenue, Commercial Street and Pittsfield Avenue.
The project is scheduled to be complete in the fall.
