Suffield - Mountain Road Water Main
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 6,700 feet of existing pipe with 12” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability and fire protection. Six fire hydrants will be replaced as part of the project, along with connections to 36 homes.
Location: Mountain Road, from Spaulding Elementary School to Ratley Road, and Taintor Lane, Suffield
Approximate Start Date: September 3, 2024
Approximate Completion Date: Spring 2025

Cornfield Point Phase IV
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 3,300 feet of existing pipe with 8” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability. Two hydrants will be replaced, along with connections to 77 homes.
Location: Mohican Rd, Gates Rd, and Pratt Rd, Old Saybrook

South Windor - Graham Road
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 1,750 feet of existing pipe with 8” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability and fire protection. Two fire hydrants will be replaced as part of the project, along with connections to 12 homes.
Location: Graham Rd, between Steep Rd and Ayers Rd, South Windsor

Woodland Park - Phase II
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 5,400 feet of existing pipe with 8” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability and fire protection. Three fire hydrants will be replaced as part of the project, along with connections to 62 homes.
Location: Highland Drive, Peach Drive, Roy Rd, Dogwood Lane from Highland to Peach, and Oak Street from Highland to Laurel Street, South Windsor

Arch St, Rock St, Burlington Water Main
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 3,000 feet of existing pipe with 4”, 6”, & 8” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability. Six fire hydrants will be replaced, along with connections to 55 homes.
Location: Arch St, Rock St, Burlington Ave, Claire Hill Rd, Burlington; Sandy Place, Collinsville.

Heritage Village Water Treatment Plant
About the project: Connecticut Water will commence construction on a new water treatment plant for the Heritage Water System beginning in February. The new structure is intended to be in service during the fall of 2025.
Location: 464 Heritage Rd. between Heritage Hotel and Pomperaug Golf Course

Avon - Hitchcock Lane Water Main
About the project: Connecticut Water will replace about 1,700 feet of existing pipe with 8” ductile iron pipe. This project will increase available water flow to the area and improve system reliability and fire protection. Two fire hydrants will be replaced as part of the project, along with connections to 17 homes.
Location: Hitchcock Lane, Avon
